Dear Friends and Supporters:
Together, we are going back to parliament and the nation's capital with one of the largest endorsements of any Member of Parliament in Canada!
With nearly 70% of all ballots cast in Humber-St. Barbe-Baie Verte, our mandate is strong. We will make our mark in the nation's capital while making a difference here at home. The indifference and the lack of respect that the Conservative government has shown our province will not be tolerated. We will fight back!
I would like to offer my personal congratulations to the candidates from the other parties running in Humber-St. Barbe-Baie Verte. The Conservative candidate gained approximately 10% of the vote while the NDP candidate scored 18% and the Newfoundland First party came in at just over 3%.
I would especially like to thank our many, many supporters who came out throughout our campaign; people who shared their time, energy and dedication to support my candidacy.
This is our victory and together we are stronger!
